Farm Store or North Market? Choose Your Own Adventure with Black Radish Creamery

Last week on Substack, I shared about my first visit to their perfect little farm store in Alexandria, OH. Unfortunately, I got there after 4PM in November, so it was dark. No pics of the outside to share this time.

I was excited to try the cheese and thrilled when I got to leave with a loaf of bread and some potatoes too! The handwritten signs pretty easily convinced me to try a block of Bandit Red Cheddar. Next time I'll get the fresh mozzarella, if it's available.

Chaos Cat Bread Co had dropped off a loaf of sourdough that my daughter and I topped with some Christmas Jam from Lynd Fruit Farm. I don't know why I'm still amazed every time how much more satisfying homemade food is than fast food. Something as simple as a chunk of bread and some jam was so, so good. Even better that I got to chat with my daughter while we snacked.

Not only do they have this awesome farm store that's right off Rt 37/161, but they have a Cheese Shop in the North Market too.
